Deep Sky Astrophotography

Now that you have captured nightscape images and added a star tracker into your equipment bag, what is next? Deep sky astrophotography commonly involves using a telescope, camera and tracking mount for photographing objects outside our solar system. In this presentation Matt will discuss how telescope equipment can take your deep sky astrophotography to the next level.

What is Remote Astrophotography?

Did you know that deep sky astrophotographers can access telescope equipment located under pristine dark skies simply via the internet? Remote observatories allow astrophotographers to install telescope equipment at locations with up to 300 clear nights a year to capture stunning images. In this presentation Matt will discuss how remote observatories can help improve your deep sky astrophotography.

Morning Add-On Session: Deep Sky Astrophotography Editing

Looking to improve your deep sky astrophotography editing workflow to create beautiful galaxy, nebulae and star cluster images? Turning the raw deep sky astrophotos captured at night into colorful works of art requires a handful of oftentimes difficult and confusing steps. In this morning add-on session, join Matt as he simplifies the process and teaches you the core steps for processing deep sky astrophotos using PixInsight and Photoshop.
